The Koppenberg has long been a staple of the Belgian cobbled classics in the spring, from the Tour of Flanders to Gent-Wevelgem and more, its rough cobblestones and steep gradients make it an iconic feature in many races, and often times it is the launch pad for famous attacks and victories. We take a closer look at the cobbled climb, its history, and some of the famous performances we've seen on it.
